Oh So Heavenly’s Foot Spa Sole Retreat Range

Oh So Heavenly has expanded tremendously over the past few years! I enjoy using some of their body products and I was thoroughly impressed with their hair products (see a review of the Hair Scentsations Repair ‘n’ Care range here), so I thought it would be a wonderful idea to try out their Foot Spa products too. They recently released a myriad of foot care products divided into three ranges: Sole Retreat, Sole Repair, and Sole Therapy. I’m not in dire need of therapy or repair products for my feet at this moment in time, so I decided to spoil myself with the entire Sole Retreat range, aimed at people who are looking for a bit of an at-home-spa-day type of pampering. Also, if you’re alone for Valentine’s Day (or perhaps celebrating Galentine’s Day), this is a lovely, affordable way to kill some time and live your best life.

Indulgent Foot Soak

Treat feet to this indulgent foot soak which helps to cleanse, pamper and soothe feet. Ideal for use in a foot spa, this luxurious formulation washes away surface impurities while Hygiene Actives help to remove odour causing germs on the skin. Coconut Extract and Epsom Salts help to soften and soothe achy feet while the scent of coconut water and hibiscus will help to revitalise and refresh. A spa wherever you are!

The third ingredient in this foot soak is magnesium sulfate, known as Epsom salt, and it is also a wonderful ingredient to include in any type of soak because it draws impurities, eliminates joint and muscle pain, heals infections, etc. If you don’t have a snazzy foot spa, the best way to use this product is to fill a small container with warm water. I use about a tablespoon of the foot soak and use my hand to swirl it into the water (it foams up, as sodium laureth sulfate is one of the main ingredients). I don’t necessarily count the minutes that I leave my feet in the foot soak, but rather wait until my feet are clean and soft before rinsing them. I really enjoy using this foot soak every few days, as it does a great job at making my feet feel clean and pampered.

3-in-1 Spa Pedicure

Pamper feet perfect with an ultra rich dose of this 3-in-1 at home express pedicure cream which can be used as a pampering, leave on mask, exfoliating foot scrub or deep cleanser to renew feet. This indulgent formulation is enriched with intensive Coconut Oil for softness and luxurious hydration. The exfoliating Pumice will help to remove dead skin cells that can cause cracked and calloused skin for feet that feel smooth and revitalised. Pedi perfect every time!

One could use this 3-in-1 product as a cleanser, scrub or mask, depending on the condition of one’s feet. It is made from kaolin, a type of clay that is well-known for its absorbent properties. It is extremely thick and it contains very fine particles of pumice, a type of volcanic rock that is sometimes used whole, which makes it an excellent exfoliator. I find it to be quite effective and, when used as a mask, it seriously softens and hydrates the feet. Coconut oil is anti-fungal, and the scent is quite prominent in this product. I use this after the foot soak, followed by a rinse with warm water.

Indulgent Foot Butter

This indulgent foot butter is designed to intensively replenish and soften skin for perfectly pedicured feet. Enriched with 15% Coconut Oil and Shea Butter, this rich formulation works to smooth and pamper feet while reducing moisture loss for silky soft skin. Spoil yourself with the ultimate luxurious treat for your feet.

This foot butter is probably one of the thickest creams I have ever come across, and I can understand why Oh So Heavenly states that it intensively replenishes and pampers one’s feet. It is a real treat. Coconut oil is the second ingredient in this foot butter, so it is without a doubt extremely luxurious. It is the perfect product to round off that at-home pamper sesh (or Galentine’s Day), and right before bed. My feet feel so soft and smooth after using this.

Besides the bright pink packaging, the thing that stood out the most to me was the fragrance of the products. Somehow, Oh So Heavenly always gets it right with their scents, and this combination of coconut and hibiscus is quite possibly one of my favourites. I’ll be taking full advantage of this range for the remainder of Cape Town’s scorching summer. If you also want to get your hands on a few Foot Spa products, you can find them at Clicks.
